Our care is planned and monitored by trained Registered Nurses, enabling Rodwell House to be a “home for life” for its residents.
Our nurses have experience and expertise in caring for residents with various care needs, particularly physical frailties and dementia-type illnesses.
The philosophy behind our nursing care is that residents should be able to live in their home with dignity, with staff available to support them to live full, active, and independent a life as possible.
Nurse-Led Care…
- Involves residents, their families and carers in the planning of each resident’s care.
- Monitors each resident’s physical wellbeing as necessary.
- Provides hands-on nursing care in-house.
- Supports residents in doing things for themselves and maximising their independence.
- Plans a choice of tasty and nutritious food.
- Takes into account the needs and wishes of residents when supporting Activities Workers to plan personalised social programmes.
- Respects residents’ modesty, making sure that they look respectable in clothing of their choice.
