Newsletter Spring 2015
Welcome to our spring newsletter. We are all looking forward to warmer days and a very full social calendar for our residents. Glenys and our activities team have been working non-stop on a fantastic range of events. Recently we were all celebrating the 70th anniversary of VE Day which was a trip down memory lane for so many of our residents.

Care Home Open Day
Join us for a BBQ and even a glass of Pimms on Friday 19 June when we open our doors for National Care Home Open Day. We are planning lots of activities to keep residents, visitors and their children entertained including a petting farm, bouncy castle and balloon modelling. There will also be the opportunity to find out more about the new Rodwell House development.
Graham Care Awards
Nominations are now open for this year’s Graham Care Awards. Last year we received so many warm and moving testimonies it was very difficult to choose just one winner so this year we’ll be celebrating the achievements of three winning members of staff! Nomination forms are available now so do ask me for one. Our Awards ceremony will take place on 13 November. You can see photos and videos of our 2014 Awards ceremony on our website.

As in previous years we are sponsoring this year’s New Haw and Woodham Dog Show at Heathervale Recreation Ground Park on 20 June. Do drop by and say hello!
We really do pride ourselves on being a family friendly home with an ‘open door’ policy welcoming even the youngest family members with their parents when they visit our residents.
